Natural Look Tutorial
Eye make up tutorial
Hey just going to do a lil run through of the brushes I use …
this brush is good for applying e.g. an all over colour like a neutral base. this brush gives a good all over coverage, or possibly to blend.
this is another brush which is good for all over colour , the wide set brush gives it the ability to cover evenly & well. Can be used for blend but not fine blending as it can cause a bit off mess.
this is the main brush I use for blending , becasue its has a gentle fluffy quality aswell as being slightly narrow which is good for more definition whilst blending.
This is a hidden gem, I got this for like £2 at a drugstore. Was a good bargain works pretty well as a general applicator brush on the bottom eyelids.
This brush is a very good applicator , can be used for bottom eyelids or lashline. This is type of brush from the Body Shop costs a pretty penny but is worth it .
This is a good brush to use for underneath the lashline or to use in the crease. the fine tip works well for definition.
This brush is good for blending or using it for highlight powder, just below the eyebrow.
this is a pretty run of the mill lip brush can purchase one form most drugstores, and are usually cheap. lip brushes are good for creating more definition and staying power from lip colour.
This can be used as a lip brush or a concealer brush, remeber to wash inbetween if tyou do both lol.
This applicator I recived with an eyeshadow , it looked so nifty I decided to take it out & keep it for fine defintion, e.g. lower lashline, inner corner of the eye.
This is a smudger , used to blend out colour.
This is an applicator, they are good for a strong application of colour.
Thankyou for reading hope it may have been helpful.
Some time over the next week I’ll be posting a page describing the different types of brushes I use && what type of effect , definition etc I I use them for .
Hope this will be helpful to some people …till next time
just lettin ya know im not claiming to be any kind of expert i just like having fun with this kind of stuff lol…
its gettin to that time of year again Halloween baby! lol ..well ok its like a moth away but im gettin started early lol ..i’m doing an eye look that could be ideal for Halloween kinda for a Devil look coz of the colours but doesnt have to be could just be for a bold, stand out look ..so il get started…
1)First Cover your whole eyelid in a neutral eyeshadow that is very simialr to your skintone, (*quicktip if you don’t have eyeshadow thats neutral foundation powder will work ok)
1b) apply black shimmer stick crayon all over the lower eyelid to act as something for the colour to latch onto and moke the colour pop, you can get these cheap as chips and it helps the colour stay and pop !
Next use a small applicator to cover the whole bottom eyelid on red eyemake up
(*quicktip if no red eyeshadow is availible red blusher will work 2, )it all goes on ya face! lol
3)after you have done that use a small eyeshadow applicator to apply bright bold yellow eyeshadow in the inner corner of your eye dab first to give a stronger impact of colour then blend out gently
next grab some gold eyeshadow and another applicator and apply the gold in the middle of the eyelid dab then blend out to give a graduated yellow gold and red effect almost like a flame lol,
5)Next use an eyeshadow brush to sweep white eyeshadow just below the eyebrows to act as a highlighter the helps open the eye and blend some of the sharper lines
6) After that use a small eyeshaow applicator and apply the same colours used on the eyelid to define on the lower lash line e.g red eyeshadow on the outer edge , gold eyeshadow in the middle and yellow on the inner corner of the eye.
7) Next apply black liquid liner on the top lash line using a slight flicking motion on the outer corner to give a more feline look
8) Next use a black kohl eyeliner to match the liquid liner to line and define the inner eye and point it to give a cat like look and line the lower lash line.
yea i look kinda freeky on the last photo sorry for inflicting that image on ya hehe
once this is done you can add your mascara, falsies and your good to go !
and if you get fallout on your cheeks not to worry grab a fluffy poder brush and brush away lol
Thank you Kindly for reading my blog , leave any comments, feedback etc u feel like
Heya haven’t been on here in a while , sorry kept getting sidetracked
I have a new tutorial probably the first of a few Natural Looks as requested by a fellow blogger
Anyhoo…i’ll stop rambling and get on with it.
1) I first applied No.7 eye mousse in pewter all over the lower lid, this is to create shimmer & extra depth to the colour. for those worried about the colour creasing to quickly because of this can apply base all over th eyelid. I also bought mine from No.7 .
2) Next its time apply dark brown eyeshadow all over the lover lid overlapping the eye mouse.
It gives a lush deep shade of brown on the lid.
3) After that it’s time to grab a small applicator brush and apply the same colour of brown eyeshadow underneath the lower lashline. remember to make application soft so not to look too severe.the colur will look slighlty different to the top eyelid.
4) After this is done you can apply some eyeliner to create extra definition & pop , however if you prefer to keep the look more natural this is fine also.
I applied miss sporty mascara in black.
above is the without eyeliner result.
above is the with eyeliner result.
Thankyou for reading.
I don’t claim to be an expert or anything like this am complete novice, this look may be a bit bold for a daytime look, if it is let me know

Weather wise today has been miserable, for those of you who are not aquainted with English Weather it was bad for even british rain. It has been pretty much much constant since 9am…not good we do not want a repeat of 2007.
Today have not done too much inthe way of excitement ..went to my course (CAB Trainee) woop woop!. Has just had a pleasant surprise from a friend …been made very E-Happy ! lol
Low and behold , the King of Controversy graced the Jonathan Ross Show on BBC 1 last night. For his first serious Interview.
I being a big fan of the US rapper was on the verge of passing out when I saw Eminem sitting in Jonanthan Ross’s back room. Although I couldnt help noticing how good he looks for his age! for someone who is 36/37 he looks fantastic his face is still very fresh faced & young looking.
I’ll stop gushing now lol.
He spoke mainly about spending time away from the music buisness facing some personal demons, & his release of his Album Relapse which I think is due out on Monday ? ..but don’t quote me on it .
I was pleased to see that he is afterall a down to earth, frank , has a wicked sense of humour & as Jonathan Ross established alot! ..he likes the headgear
Hope to see him on some more interviews in the future.
